If ever there was a community that met the crucial real estate criteria of “Location, location, location,” it would be Kitts Creek in Morrisville, North Carolina. Just draw a circle around a map of the entire Triangle area, and you’ll find Kitts Creek situated directly at the geographical center, like the bull’s-eye on a target.
Our community is just inside the western border of Wake County, immediately adjacent to Research Triangle Park. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is only minutes away, though Kitts Creek is just beyond the official RDU sound contour.
Living here gives you all the benefits of Wake County’s excellent schools and public services, while you also enjoy fast and easy access to all major local employers and points of interest in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill areas. Raleigh is southeast on Interstate 40, and Durham is north by way of Interstate 40 and Route 147. The junction of Interstate 540 and Interstate 40 is east of Kitts Creek, and Interstate 540 is being extended to the southwest of the area. A new connection between Kit Creek Road and Davis Drive is scheduled for completion in December 2011.
Abundant retail and dining options are located just down the road from Kitts Creek at Shiloh Crossing shopping center off Highway 54, anchored by Super Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. Nearby recreational areas include Brier Creek Reservoir, Lake Crabtree, Lake Crabtree County Park and the William B. Umstead State Park. The B. Everett Jordan Lake and the Jordan Lake State Recreation Area are to the southwest.
