A new connection between Kit Creek Road and Davis Drive is scheduled for completion in December 2011.

Abundant retail and dining options are located just down the road from Kitts Creek at Shiloh Crossing shopping center off Highway 54, anchored by Super Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. Nearby recreational areas include Brier Creek Reservoir, Lake Crabtree, Lake Crabtree County Park and the William B. Umstead State Park. The B. Everett Jordan Lake and the Jordan Lake State Recreation Area are to the southwest.
