We just moved from Minnesota. We were looking for a nice southern community in Wake County that Raleigh boasts in its advertisements. We looked for homes in the eastern, northern, and western suburbs of Raleigh. We almost gave up until we visited Kitts Creek. We also liked the amenities: an Olympic size swimming pool, a large community center with an old-fashion style soda fountain, and a playground. The location is also ideal: near top rated schools, close to highways I-540 and I-40, the RDU airport, and within close proximity to great shopping in Cary, Southpoint Mall in Durham, and Brier Creek and Crabtree Mall in Raleigh.
